Title: Wyndano's Cloak
Author: A.R Silverberry
The rest was a kaleidoscope of tilting and falling, of wandering lost, with no way out, no way home, no way back to a world of light and love, until the mist melted away and she collapsed, shaking in a pool of sweat.
A dark omen of chaos and destruction threatens Jen's newly peaceful world. Shadows of the past are brought forwards as threats to their future. Dark times move in towards them, threatening to shatter the haven created. The mystical; Wyndano's cloak may be her only chance to save those she loves from peril, but to succeed she must conquer the fear that churns within her and face up to the dark times ahead. With the terrifying events drawing closer and time running out Jen must face the world head on before time runs out.
Peter Allan Adler; writing as A.R Silverberry, has weaved a tale of intense imagination and wonder. Creativity seems to be pulsating through his veins as he takes pleasure in many other forms of art besides writing; including watercolor, piano and also composing. With a family filled with successful writers, actors, artists and musicians Peter remembers a childhood of early musings and a love of stories. Aside from his artistic skills Mr. Adler also has been a licensed psychologist since the year of 1991. Wyndano's cloak is a wonderfully written novel that I didn't even put down until it was finished. The characters are easy to relate to and yet they are still far from average, people will surely love this book and the adventures it takes you on. As the pages turn you find yourself in a wonderful tale of fantasy and bravery.
In my opinion, Wyndano's cloak was a well- written tale creating an adventure we may only find in the deepest corners of our imagination. I believe that this book would be enjoyed by many people and that it would be an enriching choice for personal bookshelves everywhere. A.R Silverberry's story was one that I will likely be re-reading very soon.
Wyndano's cloak is highly recommended by Kirsten Bussière, Allbooksreviews.

Allbooks Reviews INTERVIEW: (Please put your answers in black)
Please state your name and location. (city and State or Province, Country)
Peter Allan Adler. I write under the nom du plume, A. R. Silverberry, because I wanted to use a name that set the mood right on the cover. Something that said to the reader, "You're entering the world of fantasy." I hail from Northern California.
Tell us the title and publisher of your book:
Wyndano's Cloak, published by Tree Tunnel Press.
Tell us about yourself:
I've always needed to have a creative outlet. Before I was old enough to write, I remember stealing away to a private room, where I dictated stories to my mother. As a child, my brother and I used to write and produce our own puppet shows and movies. Anything related to the arts was highly valued in my family. There was never any pressure to choose a practical career, like psychology. On the other hand, when I did become a psychologist, no one objected. It was a pretty nurturing place for my imagination to grow.
When was the book released?
March 15, 2010.
Give us an overview of your book.
Wyndano's Cloak is a tale about the quest for empowerment in the face of dire adversity. The heroine, Jen, has settled into a peaceful life when a terrifying event awakens old fears—of being homeless and alone, of a danger horrible enough to destroy her family and shatter her world forever. She is certain that Naryfel, a shadowy figure from her past, has returned and is concentrating the full force of her hate on Jen's family. But how will she strike? A knife in the dark? An attack from her legions? Or with the dark arts and twisted creatures she commands with sinister cunning. Wyndano's Cloak may be Jen's only hope. If she can only trust that she has what it takes to use it . . .
What inspired you to write this book?
A single image of the climax of the story popped into my head. In my first novel (unpublished), I had already created the main characters, back-story, the world of Aerdem, and what conflicts needed to be resolved in Wyndano's Cloak. When I plotted out Wyndano's Cloak, everything flowed quickly.
As I sank deeper into the book's metaphor, I realized where I wanted to take the story. As a psychologist, I've listened to the hopes, fears, and longings of young people. The environment and the economy are just a few of the unprecedented challenges facing children today. I wanted to write a story that helps them, really, all of us, feel capable of facing our complex and sometimes frightening world.
How is your book different from other books in this genre?
When I was a child, I was fascinated by the magical devices in fairy tales: walking seven leagues in one step with seven-league shoes, genies springing from lamps and granting wishes, rings that made you invisible, and the like. These are deeply embedded in all of our psyches, and many fantasy novels take advantage of magical devices that impart power from outside the person. In Wyndano's Cloak, Jen must learn to trust an inner magic.
Where can people buy your book?
The book can be ordered from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders, or any other online or local bookstore.
Are you working on another book? If so when do you expect it to be published?
I'm fully in the grip of writing the sequel; the past two nights I've been dreaming scenes from it. Several other stories are begging to be written. Which one comes out first is anyone's guess.
If you self published, what advice can you give to fellow writers?
Fully explore all the options available to you. Then evaluate how much time, money, passion, and persistence you can bring to the project.
Can you share one of your marketing successes with us?
I launched the book by throwing a book-party benefit for a non-profit that serves needy children. I raised over $900 for them. I have benefits planned for two more nonprofits. People can learn more about this program on my website, www.arsilverberry.com. I welcome the opportunity to help other nonprofits in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
How did you find Allbooks Reviews and what are you hoping for in your relationship with us?
I was exploring book review sites online. The day your review came in was a thrilling one for me. I had just heard that Wyndano's Cloak had won two awards from the 2010 International Book Awards. But it was Kirsten's review (coming in moments later) that brought tears of joy to my eyes. The feeling that one's work has touched and moved another person is indescribable, and I will forever hold her words dear to my heart. My deepest gratitude goes to Allbooks Reviews for making all this possible for authors. It lets us know that the universe wants our stories. Your service is truly wonderful.
Was the low cost a surprise? What other things would you like Allbooks Reviews to offer writers?
